Quick overview
Marie-Lydie Joffre was born in 1944 in Millau, France. Although attracted by painting since early childhood, she opted for studies in modern literature at university and taught English for 10 years. As her passion for artistic expression grew, she decided to end her professional career as a teacher in order to fully dedicate herself to fine-art painting.

After several years in North Africa, Marie-Lydie Joffre currently lives and works in Montpellier in Southern France. Since her first exhibition in 1978, she has now participated in more than 80 art exhibitions, including 63 personal ones.
